Stages in a relationship.
The chase. The stage where you get to know the person & grow to love them. You talk to them constantly & text them. They’re usually the last person you talk to before you go to bed. You wake up to goodmorning texts from them & they’re on your mind throughout the day. As you two grow closer, you learn more about each other that makes you fall even deeper in love with them. Their flaws aren’t really flaws to you & everything they do just makes you light up. You guys share the same taste in music & do cute things for each other. You try to impress one another & I bet your friends tease you two about getting together.
The facebook status change. So it’s official. Facebook official. You two are now “In A Relationship”. Congratulations ! Your friends “like” it & comment on it. Don’t even deny that you like the attention. Admit it, honeymoon days & the pillowtalk stage is great. (;
Comfortable. You guys have reached a level of comfort with each other. You stopped trying to hard to impress one another & gradually you grow so accustomed to them if you’re a girl you lose the need to doll up & look your best every time you see them. Sometimes you may miss being single. It’s weird, when you’re single you want to be in a relationship but once you’re in one you sort of miss being single. You miss the freedom & now you’re responsible for another person’s feelings. But you shouldn’t feel that way constantly, or maybe you just can’t settle down.
Those stay-up-all-night-soul-crushing fights. You two have your first real fight. It was bound to happen eventually. Usually it brings you two closer because like they say, those who fight still care for each other. Those fights will either cause you to break up, or if you two endure, your love for each other will grow stronger & more secure. You realize the other person isn’t perfect, or exactly how you thought they were, as you become even more entwined in their life, but you love them despite your expectations.
The grass is greener on the other side syndrome. There comes a point where you wonder if someone else could make you happier. If there’s someone out there that will connect to you better or love you better. The thing is, when they get you, most guys stop doing the things they used to. You miss how hard he would try & the cute things he’d do. It seems like he’s not putting in as much effort as the other guy who does cute things for you but face it, those insignificant things are nothing compared to the love he has for you. When a guy truly loves you, best believe you have his heart in the palm of his hands.
Long term.Maybe it’s 6 months, or maybe it’s a year. But when you two have made it so far together that you’re considered long term, that’s an accomplishment because most couples around this age only last a few months.
If you’re single, just wait, the right one is somewhere (: & If you’re in a relationship, appreciate the person you love & treat them with kindness & respect; you don’t know how lucky you are to have them.

Status:I’m single with no intentions of looking for a guy. this time, i’m letting him find me.
i’m the type of girl that smiles everyday so no one would figure out her emotions, but during the night, i always cry myself to bed. it sucks because i can’t open up my feelings without feeling vulnerable and stripped of my rights.
i am not a “hot” girl. i will probably never turn you on, or take your breath away, or impress your friends with the way i look… but i can make you laugh and make you feel wanted. i really wish that could be enough, just once.
i might not have the biggest boobs nor the biggest butt, i might not have the most bangin’ body either. my smile isn’t perfect and i know my face isn’t the cutest. my hair isn’t always going to look good, and my clothes, they’re not always going to be nice or in the latest fashion.
i might not have any good talents to show you, and i don’t have the best gpa to show off. i get mad, irritated, and jealous real easily and i might get bossy at times. i’m sometimes insecure and i’m very stubborn. but i promise if you gave me a chance, i will give you the best part of me. and all these tiny little things, they won’t matter..
Random Thoughts
i want a cinderella story, a notebook romance, a walk to remember true-to-death love. and to be completely honest, i want you and only you.
i want to stop wishing for you at 11:11 because you’re already mine. i want to draw your name in hearts and not feel guilty.
i want to stop sitting up at night praying to GOD to make you mine. i want to be with you, and only you. i want to text you day and night, i want to hug you and never let go, i want you to kiss me on the cheek, just to be spontaneous, i want to hold hands with you and show you off to the world. i want you, and only you.
1.) i don’t know how much longer i can pretend to be your friend!
2.) i want you to move the hair away from my eyes and then kiss me.
3.) i want you to show me that its possible for two people to stay together forever.
4.) i want you to hold my hand in line at the mall and make all the girls jealous.
5.) i wish my smile was your favorite kind of smile.
6.) if we are destined to be together, then even if our love fails now, we will have another chance.
7.) when you meet a person that you feel like he/she is treating you somewhat special, do not fall for that feeling right away because it is much painful when you start craving for that feeling not knowing that it is just his nature.
8.) i wanna get back to the old days. when the phone would ring. and i knew it was you.
9.) the “i” in front of “love you” means everything.
10.) who can still make me laugh when i’m in a bad mood.
11.) someone who will wipe my sweat with his hanky just because i played too much in my favorite game.
12.) you’re my superman.
13.) i’d love to see myself from a boy’s perspective.
14.) someone who can give me advice about friends and family even when he knows that he sucks at it.
15.) i miss it when i push your hair out of your face and put my hands on the back of your head and push you closer to me so that i can kiss you.
16.) i want to be the girl you take home to introduce to your mom and dad.
17.) i wouldn’t trade this distance with you for someone closer and i’d pick sleeping on the phone with you than sleeping in someone else’s arms.
18.) lately i’ve realized that all i really need is somebody who will listen to my bullshit, call me out on my bullshit, and love me despite my bullshit.
19.) re-reading my inbox when i can’t sleep at night.
20.) i love it when you kiss me, and touch my hair, when you pull me close and silently promise that you’ll always stay.
